About The Position

This is a full-time Registered Nurse position in the Pediatric Extended Care Call Center, which is part of GCMG Pediatric Extended Care. The role involves performing telephone triage for a diverse patient population, assessing needed care, and collaborating with patients and others to provide clinical solutions. The nurse will conduct comprehensive nursing assessments in an untraditional nursing environment, participate in team conferences, and assess patient education needs. A key responsibility is to notify each practice, physician, and/or managed care client of all patient encounters before the office opens. The position also requires notifying designated leadership of operational concerns.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of applicable state required.
• Must apply for and maintain a South Carolina Registered Nurse license and any other Registered Nurse licenses from states that new clients may reside in.
• BLS required per policy guidelines.
• Must live within 50 miles of call center in Mint Hill.

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred.
• Experience in telephone triage, pediatrics and ED triage is desired.

Responsibilities
