About The Position
Interim Healthcare is looking to add to our dynamic team of Healthcare professionals! Grow professionally and personally as you work in the top medical facilities in the Twin Cities Metro area. This immediate need need is in Maplewood. Schedule : Monday- Friday 7am-3:30pm, minimum of two days per week up to full time.
Requirements
- ADN degree
- Current RN license with the State of MN
- Current BLS, ACLS and PALS
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in an Ambulatory Surgery Center/ Same Day Surgery Clinic is helpful
Responsibilities
- Working in all areas of the surgery center throughout their shift including Pre-OP, PACU and Post-Op
- Working with pediatric patients.
- Starting and maintaining IVs
- Coordinate, oversee, deliver, and delegate nursing care based on patient assessment/standards of care.
- Document, reassess and alter plan of care based on patient’s response to nursing interventions on an ongoing basis.
- Communicate pertinent patient data to other members of the health care team in a timely fashion.
- Assess learning needs of patients and families to provide comprehensive, individualized health care teaching to patient and family
