About The Position

Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatric Emergency Department Where You Will Work: Atrium Health Union Levine Children's Pediatric Emergency Department: In partnership with Levine Children's, Atrium Health Union Levine Children’s Pediatric Emergency Department is the only pediatric emergency department in Union County, North Carolina. Providing emergency care to patients from birth to 18 years of age, we pride ourselves on our nursing ratios, teamwork, and highly engaged team delivering top quality care for these patients. As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• At least 6 months of RN experience
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of hire
• 1 year of peds/ED experience required
