This position is for a Registered Nurse at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital, focusing on pediatric Blood and Marrow Transplantation (BMT). The hospital is recognized for its comprehensive pediatric programs, including surgery, imaging, intensive care, cardiac, oncology, and transplantation services. The BMT Program is a world-renowned leader, with a history of successful transplants dating back to 1968. The unit provides care to pediatric patients with hematology/oncology, GI, urology, metabolic, and gastrointestinal disorders, preparing them for and undergoing transplantation. The role involves advanced monitoring, managing complex medication and infusion therapies, caring for patients undergoing procedures, and operating unit equipment safely. The unit has 24 beds with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2 to 1:4. A nurse residency program is available for eligible new graduate RNs.
