About The Position
ChristianaCare is seeking an energetic PACU Registered Nurse to join their fast-paced Surgery Center team. This role focuses on providing excellent clinical outcomes through caring service to patients and their families. The selected individual will rotate through all perioperative areas, including admissions, phase 1 and phase 2 recovery areas, and will care for both inpatients and outpatients requiring surgical services. Requirements
- BSN Preferred or commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of date of hire can be considered with relevant experience.
- At least two years’ experience in Critical Care, Emergency or Stepdown units.
- BLS required
- ACLS required.
- PALS required. (Required to obtain within 6 months of hire.)
Nice To Haves
- PACU experience preferred.
- CCRN or CPAN or CAPA preferred.
Responsibilities
- Rotate through all perioperative areas such as admissions, phase 1 and phase 2 recovery areas.
- Care for both inpatients and outpatients in need of surgical services.
