Registered Nurse (RN) PACU GYN PRN
About The Position
Our Fairfax Hospital Women's PACU is seeking an experienced RN PACU for a PRN (as needed) position. The unit is a 32-bay Preoperative and PACU department caring for patients before and after their General Gynecology, Gynecological Oncology, Urological Gynecology, and Robotic procedures. The department cares for approximately 30 patients a day on average, with 75% of them going home the same day from the PACU. The acuity ranges from benign procedures to extensive oncology cases. Requirements
- One year of PACU or Critical Care (ICU/ED) RN experience or completion of a critical care or PACU fellowship
- BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of hire
- American Heart Association BLS certification for Healthcare Provider.
- RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN.
- Proficient in English, strong verbal and written communication skills.
