About The Position

This role delivers patient care utilizing the nursing process, including data collection, assessment, identification of patient problems/needs, and evaluation of care outcomes. The Registered Nurse coordinates and directs patient teaching activities and collaborates with health team members. In collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team, the RN conducts initial and ongoing patient assessments, analyzes data, creates a plan of care, implements treatments, and evaluates their effectiveness. The nurse administers medications safely and serves as a point of contact for patient care coordination across hospital departments. This role also acts as a patient safety advocate by participating in ongoing quality improvement initiatives within the department.
