This role involves delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process, including data collection, assessment, identification of patient problems/needs, and evaluation of care outcomes. The Registered Nurse will coordinate and direct patient teaching activities and collaborate with health team members. In collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team, the nurse conducts initial and ongoing patient assessments, analyzes data, creates a plan of care, implements treatment, and evaluates its effectiveness. They administer medications safely, serve as a point of contact for patient care coordination across hospital departments, and act as a patient safety advocate by participating in quality improvement initiatives.
