About The Position
High Point Residence Tinley Park is seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our nursing team on a part-time or PRN basis. This is a great opportunity for nurses seeking a flexible schedule while making a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults. In this role, you will provide high-quality, resident-centered nursing care within our supportive living and memory care community. You will collaborate with residents, families, physicians, and fellow team members to promote resident health, safety, comfort, and overall well-being.
Requirements
- Current, active RN or LPN license in the State of Illinois
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Every other weekend availability
- Compassionate and resident-focused approach to nursing care
Nice To Haves
- Previous nursing experience in supportive living, assisted living, memory care, long-term care, or geriatric nursing
- Experience with electronic health record systems
- Strong understanding of resident-centered care and senior living environments
Responsibilities
- Conduct resident assessments and monitor changes in health and condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Identify and promptly communicate changes in resident condition or concerns.
- Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members to support individualized care plans.
- Provide compassionate nursing care and emotional support to residents and families.
- Promote a safe, respectful, and resident-focused environment.
- Follow established nursing procedures, community policies, and applicable regulatory standards.
