Physician: Oncology Endocrinologist - Tinley Park, IL
About The Position
Northwestern Medicine is seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Oncology Endocrinologist to join its team in Tinley Park, Illinois, in the southern suburbs of Chicago. The role is based in an outpatient setting and involves comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis—with a focus on oncology—and treatment of a wide range of endocrine disorders, metabolic disease, and hormonal imbalances. The physician will develop long-term relationships with patients and provide exceptional care to a diverse patient population while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. The physician will join a team of four outpatient Endocrinology physicians, two Endocrinology Hospitalists, and one advanced practice provider. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a flexible schedule. The physician participates in outpatient call coverage with the other four Endocrinologists, one week every five weeks. The practice has onsite lab services and support from nurses, certified medical assistants, Diabetic Educators, and Nutritionists.
Requirements
- Board eligible or board certified (BE/BC).
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat endocrine disorders, metabolic disease, and hormonal imbalances, with a focus on oncology.
- Develop long-term relationships with patients and deliver exceptional, patient-centered care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including Diabetic Educators and Nutritionists.
- Participate in outpatient call coverage one week every five weeks.
