About The Position
The Surgical RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients before, during and after surgery. This includes creating and maintaining a sterile and safe environment, providing preoperative and postoperative instruction, monitoring the patient's physiological and psychological status, coordinating patient care, and acting as a patient advocate. The role may also involve floating to Outpatient Surgery.
Requirements
- Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia
- Minimum of one year of operating room experience or critical care experience
- BLS and ACLS certified
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
