About The Position

Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. At least 1 year hospital-based surgery circulator or surgery center circulator experience required. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. RNs with at least 1 year acute care experience desiring to be trained into the OR. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times. Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills required. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

At least 1 year hospital-based surgery circulator or surgery center circulator experience required.
RNs with at least 1 year acute care experience desiring to be trained into the OR.
Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
Current American Heart Association or American Cross BLS at time of hire.
Current active Florida or Compact Nursing License
Prefer one year, full-time or 3 years, part-time experience in acute care setting.
ACLS as of start date (New graduate RN's wtihin 90 days of start date)
NRP as of start date (inexperienced L&D nurses within 90 days of start date)
NIH within 90 days of start date or prior to completion of orientation - whichever is first
PALS, CPI within 90 days of start date, NIH within 90 days of start date or prior to completion of orientation - whichever is furst
PALS as of start date (inexperienced PACU nurses within 90 days of hire or prior completion of orientation - whichever is first).
