About The Position

There are exciting new opportunities at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist! We are seeking experienced RNs to join our regional Surgical Services Float Pool. In this position, you will support the Wake region ORs (Winston-Salem, Bermuda Run, North Wilkesboro, Elkin, High Point, Lexington). Requirements

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Minimum of one year Operating Room experience or participation in a post-graduate program required.
Refresher course required for nurses who have not worked in an Operating Room for five years or more.
Current licensures to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina
BCLS required.

Nice To Haves

3 years of experience strongly preferred.
CNOR preferred.

Responsibilities

Utilizes the nursing process to ensure quality patient care is provided throughout the episode of care.
Ensures complete, accurate and timely computerized communication of patient information.
Demonstrates cost containment activities.
Communicates to the team, co-workers, patients and family members in an effective, positive, and professional manner.
Takes personal responsibility and initiative for performance and for professional growth and development.
