Registered Nurse RN Oncology
About The Position
At Saint Francis Hospital, the inpatient Oncology Unit provides care to patients with solid tumor cancers, hematologic cancers, and benign hematologic conditions. The unit also provides care to medical/surgical patients and offers hospice and end-of-life services. The role involves being part of a collaborative, high-performing team, actively participating in unit shared decision-making, and utilizing nurse-driven protocols for practice autonomy. The nurse will deliver compassionate, ethical, and respectful care aligned with Trinity Health’s mission and values, applying the full nursing process (assess, diagnose, plan, implement, evaluate) to provide high-quality care. The position may also involve serving as a resource for others and taking on expanded roles intermittently.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program.
- Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Connecticut.
- BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
