About The Position

Crescent Hospice is currently seeking a Full Time On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team, providing exceptional care and support to hospice patients and their families during their most critical moments. As an On-Call RN, you will play a vital role in identifying patient and family needs, coordinating care, and offering preventative measures and compassionate support. The schedule for this position is Friday 4:30 PM through Monday 8:00 AM, covering Orangeburg and surrounding Counties.

Requirements

• Hold current unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Minimum one (1) year experience as an RN in a medical surgical/acute care setting.
• Must be computer proficient in typing and various programs, including a background in EMR.
• Possess and maintain current CPR certification if required by state.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or health care preferred.
• Hospice experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to a variety of patient needs, from urgent to routine, providing unwavering support in critical moments.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient's physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the patient's home, within the agency, and in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Share knowledge and expertise to guide and support patients' families in caring for their terminally ill loved ones.
