Responsibilities

  • Greets and creates a positive patient experience with each patient and their family.
  • Conducts patients assessments including vitals and medical histories.
  • Rooms and prepares patients for procedures while maintaining neat and clean clinical areas.
  • Performs diagnostic procedures (skin testing, spirometry, etc.) and basic lab tests (CLIA waived).
  • Administers diagnostic and therapeutic medications, injections, immunizations and SQ and IV infusions as directed by providers.
  • Provides patient education, instruction and support regarding treatment plans.
  • Coordinates patient referrals, lab orders, prior authorizations and pre-certifications.
  • Triages clinical calls and calls in prescriptions.
  • Enters, scans and updates clinical documentation (EMR) ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintains and stocks medical supply inventory and equipment.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
