About The Position

The Advocate Trinity Hospital infusion clinic is an outpatient unit, located inside the hospital. This smaller infusion clinic has 5 chairs and is open from 7a-330p Monday through Friday. The clinic is fast paced dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals undergoing chemotherapy, immunotherapy, other various IV therapies and supportive treatments. Our team works collaboratively to deliver high-quality care while prioritizing patient safety, education, and emotional support throughout the treatment journey. As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Requirements

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Minimum of 3 years of RN experience
Chemo cerftification required within 30 days of hire
