About The Position
Seeking an experienced RN for OB/Labor & Delivery to provide patient care using the full nursing process. The role includes patient assessment, care planning, medication administration, and supporting a high-acuity hospital environment.
Requirements
- RN License – Massachusetts
- Recent OB/Labor & Delivery experience (within 2 years)
- Strong clinical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- ADN required
- BLS – Required
- ACLS – Required
- NRP – Required
- Fetal Monitoring (every 2 years) – Required
- Pharmacology exam – Required
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred
- CPI – Preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
- Perform and document patient assessments
- Develop and update care plans
- Administer medications and monitor responses
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Coordinate with care teams
- Educate patients and families
- Supervise support staff
- Act as charge nurse when required
- Follow safety and infection control protocols
