About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced and dedicated Nurse Educator (RN) to support clinical education and staff development within a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will bring strong acute care experience and a passion for teaching and mentoring nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care standards.
Requirements
- Active New York State RN License
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg clinical experience
- Current AHA BLS Certification
- Verification of RN license and registration through NYSED
- Strong clinical foundation in acute care nursing
Nice To Haves
- Minimum 2 years of Nurse Educator experience
- Background in Emergency Department (ED) or Intensive Care Unit (ICU) strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical education, training, and mentorship to nursing staff
- Develop and deliver evidence-based educational programs
- Support competency assessments and clinical skill validation
- Collaborate with leadership to improve clinical practice standards
- Assist in onboarding and orientation of new nursing staff
- Promote best practices in patient care across assigned units
- Serve as a clinical resource for Med/Surg, ED, and ICU teams
