About The Position

ChristianaCare's Non-Invasive Cardiovascular Lab is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) that will support the pre and post care treatment of the patient population in the Cardiovascular Lab. Non-invasive cardiologists provide diagnostic testing and imaging to help diagnose disorders of the heart. These tests are usually performed on an outpatient basis. They include: Echocardiograms, Exercise stress tests, including nuclear, PET and echo stress tests, Cardiac CT, Holter monitor and loop monitor tests, Peripheral vascular ultrasound, and Bedside electrical cardioversions. The RN will also cross train to the HVIS Prep & Hold area.

Requirements

Current RN License to be eligible to work in the state of Delaware
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of date of hire
BLS required
One year of cardiac stepdown experience required as RN; and/or critical care experience strongly preferred
