About The Position

Inova Alexandria Hospital is hiring a Full-Time Cardiovascular Invasive RN to join their Interventional Radiology Unit! The Invasive Cardiovascular Labs are comprised of 6 labs (Cardiac Cath Labs, Interventional Radiology Labs, and Electrophysiology Labs) and see cases such as Coronary, Heart, Caths and Peripherals. The Inova Heart and Vascular Institute (IHVI) offers multidisciplinary expertise in convenient locations across the Northern VA areas with state-of-the art facilities. Our vascular program takes a pioneering approach to the treatment of vascular disease through personalized and comprehensive treatments.

Requirements

A minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience
BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required.
RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN.
Proficient in English, strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

1 or more years experience working in Cardiac Cath Lab, EP, IR, ICU, ED.

Responsibilities

Covering 7:30 am - 6:00 pm with night, weekend, and holiday on-call requirements.
Performing procedures in Cardiac Cath Labs, Interventional Radiology Labs, and Electrophysiology Labs.
Handling cases such as Coronary, Heart, Caths, and Peripherals.
