About The Position
Inova Loudoun Hospital is seeking an experienced Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Nurse for a PRN (as needed) schedule. The hospital's expanded level III NICU is the highest-level NICU in Loudoun County, accommodating up to 24 infants with 14 private rooms and two NICU Pods for infants needing constant observation. The unit is staffed 24/7 with board-certified neonatologists. Requirements
- 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
- 1 year of NICU RN experience required
- Basic Life Support through AHA
- Licensed Registered Nurse or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate’s Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
Nice To Haves
- 2+ years of NICU RN experience at level III or IV NICU
Responsibilities
- Work day and night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
