About The Position

About Lerner Tower 4 – Neurology Acute Care Step Down Unit Lerner Tower 4 is a 30 bed adult inpatient care unit that primarily provides care for neurology and neurosurgical patients. The newly remodeled unit is also a neuro intermediate care unit, in which stepdown acuity level neuro patients can be cared for. Additionally, Tower 4 has a unique collaboration with NSU, the neuro ICU. Management as well as staff from both areas meet frequently to discuss issues, work on process improvement and patient satisfaction. Learn more about the unit. Requirements

Thorough knowledge of nursing process and practice.
Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed medical therapies (ie. Stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers and electronic monitoring devices.
Demonstrates a professional demeanor when responding to patients.
1 year of RN experience required
Registered nurse with current license to practice in the state of Ohio.
Current BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association, must be obtained during Nursing Orientation

Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
