About The Position

This is a weekend-only position for Registered Nurses (RNs) working day shifts on Saturdays and Sundays from 7 am to 7:30 pm. The role involves evaluating assigned patients and planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care. The nurse will deliver excellent nursing care to a diverse patient population with complex concerns, perform various patient tests, and administer medications within the scope of practice. The position also focuses on promoting patient independence by establishing care goals and educating patients and families about their conditions, medications, and self-care skills. The role relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
PA Registered Nurse License
Experience working with a variety of different, complex patient populations including Trauma, Medical, Neurosurgery, and General Surgery.
