About The Position
Saint Alphonsus Health System, Idaho's only hospital system recognized by Forbes as one of America's Best Large Employers for 2025, is looking for a Registered Nurse to join our Neuro Surgical Trauma SDU team at our Level II Trauma Center in Boise, Idaho. This position will be located at our Regional Medical Center off I-184 and Curtis Rd. This role offers the opportunity to work with a high-acuity patient population in a newly built, innovative unit outfitted with the latest equipment, perfect for honing specialized skills. You will be utilizing your skills in a Level II Trauma Center and a Level I Comprehensive Stroke Center, providing next-level care for neurological patients in a state-of-the-art unit with the newest and most advanced technology and equipment. You will be caring for post-operative patients along with patients with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, seizures, strokes, and other neurological disorders, delivering high-quality nursing care in our 17-bed SDU, utilizing advanced clinical skills to assess, stabilize, and monitor patients.
Requirements
- Idaho or multistate RN license (must establish Idaho residency within 6 months if applicable)
- BLS certification
- ACLS and PALS required within designated timelines
Responsibilities
- Utilizing your skills in a Level II Trauma Center and a Level I Comprehensive Stroke Center
- Providing next level care for neurological patients in a state-of-the-art unit with the newest and most advanced technology and equipment
- Caring for post operative patients along with patients with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, seizures, strokes, and other neurological disorders
- Delivering high-quality nursing care in our 17-bed SDU, utilizing advanced clinical skills to assess, stabilize, and monitor patients
