This role is within the VUH JAT 11 Neuroscience Stepdown unit, which cares for adult patients (18+) treated for various neurological conditions including acute ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, subdural and epidural hematoma, subarachnoid hemorrhage, seizures, Guillain-Barre syndrome, Myasthenia Gravis exacerbation, meningitis and encephalitis, spinal cord injury, cerebrovascular intervention, and brain and spinal tumor resection. Patients on this unit have specialized neurological needs.
