About The Position

This is a PRN opportunity for an experienced nurse interested in Behavioral Health Services at the MUSC Leatherman Adolescent Inpatient Unit. The role involves planning, directing, and evaluating overall nursing care and functions within a particular nursing unit or during an assigned shift. The nurse will coordinate unit activities, direct, organize, and assign work to the nursing staff, and assess, monitor, and educate staff on patient care. They will also institute emergency procedures as necessary and identify expected outcomes for patients' individualized treatment plans.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree
• A minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse required.
• Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
