About The Position

Lakeside 50 is a 20-bed Telemetry unit that admits patients with various medical diagnoses, some of whom have become increasingly unstable during their clinical course. The nurses on this division are competent in Telemetry interpretation and are privileged to administer certain cardiac drugs considered high risk for general med-surg units. Staff work in a fast-paced setting with high stakes. The Weekender position requires working two (2) 12-hour shifts between 7:00 PM Friday and 7:00 AM Monday. In return for this commitment, Weekenders will be compensated at 1.5 times their regular hourly rate for these shifts. Individuals in Weekender roles qualify for full-time medical and dental benefits, while eligibility for all other benefits is at part-time levels. Requirements

1 year of RN experience required
Registered nurse with current license to practice in the state of Ohio.
Current BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association, must be obtained during Nursing Orientation
Thorough knowledge of nursing process and practice.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.

Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed medical therapies (e.g., Stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers and electronic monitoring devices).
Demonstrates a professional demeanor when responding to patients.
