About The Position

Registered Nurse/RN III – Mother/Baby PRN Days Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health Rockwall - 3150 Horizon Rd, Rockwall, TX 75032 Work hours: PRN “as needed” – variable Days 7am-7pm, Required: a minimum of (6) 12-hour shifts per six-week period, (2) weekend shifts per six-week period, (1) major holiday and (2) minor holidays per year. Training: Must be able to attend training at the corporate office in Arlington from 8am-5pm for the first 1-5 days of hire. Requirements

Nursing Diploma required or
Associate’s degree in Nursing required or
1 year experience as registered nurse required
Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care required upon hire and maintained quarterly
NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program required within 90 days of hire
CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training required within 90 days of hire and maintained annually
A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
1 year of Mother-Baby/Postpartum experience strongly preferred
