About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) at a top healthcare facility in Easley, SC. This position involves providing critical care to patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in ICU care, with strong expertise in monitoring, assessing, and providing interventions for patients experiencing life-threatening medical conditions. Floating between like units and other local facilities may be required based on staffing needs.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of recent experience in an ICU/critical care setting
1 year of EPIC experience is required for documentation
Strong clinical skills and knowledge in managing critically ill patients
ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
BLS – Basic Life Support
SC RN License – Active South Carolina Registered Nurse license

Nice To Haves

Previous experience floating to other units is a plus

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients in the MICU
Monitor and manage patients on life-support systems, including ventilators, invasive lines, and pumps
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and in accordance with established protocols
Utilize critical thinking and nursing interventions to ensure the best possible patient outcomes
Provide patient and family education regarding the critical care process and discharge planning
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EPIC system
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide holistic patient care
Follow established infection control and safety procedures
Respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations
Float to like units within the hospital or to other local facilities as needed
