About The Position

The registered nurse (RN) plans, coordinates and implements patient care specific to the age of the patient population served on the 3 North-Surgical & Pediatrics floor. The RN ensures that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with departmental standards of care. The RN demonstrates performance consistent with the mission, philosophy and goals of the assigned unit and the organization. They remain flexible to changing systems - are expected to demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practices, and treat staff, physicians, patients and families with consideration and respect.

Requirements

  • Current state RN license
  • Bachelor's degree or Associate degree from an accredited nursing school
  • BLS
  • ACLS required for charge RN

Responsibilities

  • Utilizing specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator.
  • Shaping exceptional patient journeys every day.
  • Leveraging skills and cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing.
  • Planning, coordinating and implementing patient care specific to the age of the patient population served on the 3 North-Surgical & Pediatrics floor.
  • Ensuring that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with departmental standards of care.
