About The Position

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in Medical/Surgical, you will join a team dedicated to making communities healthier. The role involves coordinating total nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching, acting as a patient advocate, and collaborating with ancillary and non-nursing departments. You will provide direct patient care using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. The Medical/Surgical unit operates with a 4:1 nurse ratio, 8:1 CNA ratio, and has a Break Nurse, Charge Nurse, and Nursing Supervisor on staff, with 38 total beds and 12-hour shifts.

Requirements

• Current state RN license
• Bachelor’s degree or associate degree from an accredited nursing school
• BLS
• ACLS

• 1 year of experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate total nursing care for patients
