Our MST unit offers a premier environment to hone your critical care skills and serves as a foundational stepping stone for future careers in Intermediate Care (IMC) or the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The Medical-Surgical Department at Havasu Regional Medical Center is a 40+ bed unit.

Requirements

  • Current Arizona or Compact State RN license
  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science (BSN) preferred
  • ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred

Responsibilities

  • Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
  • Documents patient care and monitors patient condition, communicating with care team, physician, patient, and family.
  • Coordinates patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs.
  • Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
