Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Stepdown
About The Position
As a Full-time, 36 hrs per week, Medical Stepdown Nurse at Lankenau Medical Center, you will be part of an Interdisciplinary Team working within a 17-bed unit. Your care and treatment of medical/respiratory stepdown/progressive care patients will be an integral part of their Patient Experience. This role offers opportunities for career development through our Tuition Reimbursement Program (up to $6,000 per year) for certifications or advanced nursing degrees, and engagement through Nursing Committees, Unit Councils, research projects, precepting, and the Clinical Ladder program. Requirements
- One year of recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown Nurse experience required.
- RN Diploma, ASN required.
- PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred.
- Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Caring for the medical/respiratory stepdown/progressive care patient population.
- Participating in an Interdisciplinary Team.
- Engaging in hospital & system-wide Nursing Committees, Unit Councils, evidence-based research projects, precepting new staff, and pursuing the Clinical Ladder program.
