Registered Nurse (RN)—Medical ICU (MICU) Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together. The new medical complex is devoted to intensive care for the region’s most critically ill patients. Continuous education provided for commonly used devices. Involved Unit Based Council. Requirements

Diploma of Nursing OR Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) Required
Other - CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency Req
1 Year Experience as a clinical nurse (RN) or completion of an RN residency program Required
Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire.
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support --Prior to providing Independent patient care and maintained quarterly
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support--within 90 days of hire
CPI-Crisis Prevention Intervention training within 60 days of hire is required
A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
One or more years of ICU experience strongly preferred; would consider Emergency, PACU or PCU
