About The Position

Fairview is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Med/Surg 7C unit at our M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center - East Bank location in Minneapolis, MN. This position will be working 0.7 FTE (56 hours every two weeks). The shift length will be 8 hours on the day and evening shift. This position will also work every other weekend rotation. The 7C unit cares for adult patients that require general medical care (pulmonary, rheumatology, renal, infectious disease, gastroenterology, endocrinology, and cardiac monitoring of medicine patients). The unit has a bed capacity of 38. Cares for patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures/interventions on the unit and performs advanced monitoring using current technology. Manages complex medication and infusion therapies. Patient Ratios: Day shift 3-4 patients, evening shift 3-4 patients, night shift 4-5 patients. Requirements

• MN RN License
• BLS required
• Associates Degree

Nice To Haves

• BSN or higher preferred
• Certification in related specialty
• One year of current medical/surgical RN experience in a hospital setting is desired
