Registered Nurse (RN) - Levine Cancer Rare & Complex Clinic
About The Position
This clinic provides specialized care for patients with rare cancers, including head and neck malignancies, endocrine tumors (thyroid and parathyroid), and orthopedic sarcomas. Our multidisciplinary team collaborates to deliver advanced surgical and medical oncology treatments supported by patient-centered care. Services Offered include Surgical Care (Complex head and neck cancer surgeries, Endocrine surgeries, Orthopedic sarcoma resections and limb-sparing procedures), Medical Oncology (Chemotherapy and targeted therapies, Immunotherapy options), Clinical Trials (Access to innovative research and experimental treatments), and Supportive Care (Speech and swallowing rehabilitation, Nutrition counseling). Conditions Treated include Head and neck cancers, Endocrine cancers, Orthopedic sarcomas, and Rare and complex tumors requiring specialized expertise.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Minimum of 1 years of RN experience preferred
- Current certification in BLS required; PALS to be obtained after hire

Responsibilities
- Coordinates the clinical care of patients being evaluated for and/or patients already participating in the clinical program, including research activities, and education.
- Coordinates clinical care throughout the program utilizing pathways and developing tools to ensure high quality, cost effective continuity of care is provided to all patients.
- Collaborates with other clinical team members in assessing and supporting psychosocial needs of the patient/family.
- Continuously evaluates patient, team, and unit outcomes, taking action as needed.
