About The Position

Aurora West Allis Medical Center’s Internal Float Pool Level 1 offers a unique opportunity to work in various units within one facility, bringing variety and learning to your practice. There is an opportunity to cross-train in a second specialty such as ICU, ER or Women's Health. Our Internal Med/Surg Float RNs bring versatility, clinical strength, and teamwork to every shift, ensuring high-quality, compassionate care across multiple critical care areas within a single facility. This is an excellent opportunity to build your skill set and resume by showcasing your ability to be flexible, continue to build your practice and knowledge as an active learner in a wide variety of patient populations, and be known for supporting the team as a knowledgeable and flexible resource.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (AHA)
  • Minimum 1-year acute care RN experience (2 years strongly preferred)
  • Commitment to ongoing learning, adaptability, and teamwork across multiple care environments

Nice To Haves

  • Cross-train in a second specialty such as ICU, ER or Women's Health.
