About The Position
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dedicated women's services team in Lubbock, TX. This role offers the opportunity to provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns throughout the labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum process.
Requirements
- Active RN License (Texas or Compact State License)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP Certifications
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Nice To Haves
- Labor & Delivery nursing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery
- Assist physicians and healthcare providers during deliveries and procedures
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Educate patients and families regarding childbirth, recovery, and newborn care
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with clinical standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
