About The Position

This Registered Nurse (RN) position in Labor and Delivery at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC, is a part-time role. The nurse will deliver safe, patient-centered care using the nursing process, clinical judgment, and evidence-based practices. This includes monitoring patient conditions, administering treatments, and adapting care to achieve optimal outcomes. The RN will also collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to drive quality and safety, maintaining accurate documentation, supporting communication and delegation, engaging in professional development, and upholding ethical standards while meeting diverse patient care needs. Requirements

  • Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program
  • Previous Labor and Delivery experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Active, unrestricted registered nurse (RN) multi-state compact and/or single-state license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN is providing client nursing services
  • Typically requires 1 year of experience in clinical nursing

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Additional education, training, certifications, or experience may be required based on specialty
