Texas Health Hospital Rockwall has proudly served the growing communities of Rockwall, Kaufman, Hunt, and surrounding counties for over 15 years. Our 105-bed acute-care hospital provides comprehensive medical and surgical services, including a Level 2 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, updated labor and delivery suites, cardiac catheterization lab, interventional radiology suite, expanded surgery suites, and enhanced emergency and intensive care areas. Our campus also houses a Women's Imaging and Breast Center, bariatric clinic, ambulatory surgery center, and various physician practices to meet diverse community health needs. Requirements

  • Nursing Diploma required or Associate’s degree in Nursing required or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
  • 1 year experience as registered nurse required
  • 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience strongly preferred
  • Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care required upon hire and maintained quarterly
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 90 days of hire
  • NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program required within 90 days of hire
  • NRPA - Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program required within 90 days of hire
  • CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training required within 90 days of hire
  • Must be able to attend training at the corporate office in Arlington 8am-5pm during the first 1-5 days of hire

Nice To Haves

  • STABLE Program completion recommended
  • AWHONN Fetal Heart Monitoring required within two years of hire
  • A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
