About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor and Delivery for a 13-week travel assignment in Marshall, MI. This role involves providing professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients using critical thinking and independent judgment. The nurse will utilize all phases of the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. They will be responsible for the direction and supervision of the nursing patient care team, typically made up of CNAs, LPNs, and other techs. Collaboration with own team and other disciplines in the provision of care is essential. The nurse will document patient care, patient condition, reactions, and response to treatment in a timely manner and track patient progress.

Requirements

  • 2 years of current Birthing Center experience
  • Experience with laboring patients, delivery (newborn care at delivery), and postpartum (moms and babies) is required
  • current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association desired
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
  • Drug screen and background check (facility required)
  • Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned

Nice To Haves

  • Prior travel experience is preferred
  • NRP is preferred- Client will consider RN's without the active certification, must be willing to obtain!

Responsibilities
