About The Position

Work hours: PRN "as needed" - variable 12-hour Night shifts, including weekends and holidays. Must be available to work a minimum of (6) 12-hour shifts per six-week period, (2) weekend shifts per six-week period, (1) major holiday and (2) minor holiday shifts per year. Training: Must be able to attend training at the corporate office in Arlington 8am-5pm during the first 1-5 days of hire. Requirements

  • Nursing Diploma required or Associate’s degree in Nursing required or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
  • 1 year experience as registered nurse required
  • 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience strongly preferred
  • Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care required upon hire and maintained quarterly
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 90 days of hire
  • NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program required within 90 days of hire
  • NRPA - Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program required within 90 days of hire
  • CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training required within 90 days of hire
  • A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • STABLE Program completion recommended
  • AWHONN Fetal Heart Monitoring required within two years of hire
