Registered Nurse (RN) - L&D
About The Position
The Clinical Nurse is a registered nurse who partners with and advocates for patients, families, and significant others, providing physical, emotional, and spiritual support to impact patient outcomes in a safe environment. The RN functions in a versatile role, demonstrating professionalism and promoting excellence and autonomy in the practice of nursing. Using the nursing process and evidence-based principles, the RN cares for a diverse caseload of patients within the department’s scope of service. The RN serves as a guide, healer, collaborator, teacher, leader, and sentry, and collaborates with and guides care delivered by the inter-professional team. The RN is accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, Nursing Code of Ethics, and applicable regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing.
- Valid Ohio RN license.
- L&D experience required.
- Ability to multitask with constant interruptions while maintaining a pleasant demeanor.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Strong organization skills.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsibilities
