About The Position

The Nursery at Wilson Medical Center is comprised of a well-baby nursery as well as a 2-bed level II nursery serving newborns greater than 32 weeks gestation. The nursery provides care to more than 800 newborns annually. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will accurately perform patient assessments, identify patient needs, and initiate appropriate nursing interventions. You will provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient, perform timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record, and be responsible for the completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient. You will also perform timely and accurate QI assessments.

Requirements

Current state RN license
Degree from an accredited nursing school
Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire

Nice To Haves

One year of experience preferred
Compassionate nurse with a deep understanding of critical care principles and advanced patient monitoring

Responsibilities
