About The Position

The Piedmont Joint Camp is a 24 bed orthopedic post operative unit specializing in the recovery and rehabilitation of patients undergoing total joint replacement surgeries. Team members provide high quality, patient centered care focused on pain management, mobility, education, and safe discharge planning. Staff collaborate closely with surgeons, physical therapists, case managers, and nursing leadership to ensure consistent clinical excellence and an exceptional patient experience. Responsibilities include monitoring post operative status, managing surgical drains and dressings, supporting early ambulation, educating patients and families on recovery expectations, and maintaining a safe, encouraging environment that promotes optimal healing and independence. As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Greater than 1 year of RN experience
