Registered Nurse (RN) - Interventional Radiology
About The Position
Reporting to the Director of Diagnostic Imaging Services, the Registered Nurse has an indirect reporting relationship to the C.N.O. Daily activities are coordinated through an RN Charge Nurse. The major goal of the Radiology Nurse is to provide quality nursing care to the patient. Skills utilized in his/her job performance include assessment, communication, teaching, leadership, and management. The nurse insures patient privacy and dignity. Areas where the nurse may function are: General diagnostic, special procedures, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, computerized tomography, interventional radiology and magnetic resonance imaging.
