Registered Nurse (RN) - Interventional Radiology
About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) in Interventional Radiology reports directly to the Director of Diagnostic Imaging Services and has an indirect reporting relationship to the C.N.O. Daily activities are coordinated through an RN Charge Nurse. The major goal of this role is to provide quality nursing care to patients, utilizing skills in assessment, communication, teaching, leadership, and management. The nurse is responsible for ensuring patient privacy and dignity. This position may involve functioning in various areas including General diagnostic, special procedures, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, computerized tomography, interventional radiology, and magnetic resonance imaging. The role requires fulfilling on-call and weekend requirements, specifically for Interventional Radiology RN Staff.
Requirements
- 2 - 3 Years of experience
- Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of California
- ACLS Certification
- PALS certification
- Basic Dysrhythmia course
Nice To Haves
- Preferred experience to include Critical Care, Radiology and/or Cardiology
