The Registered Nurse (RN) in Interventional Radiology is responsible for providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. This role utilizes evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and skilled communication to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum of care. The position involves performing a variety of procedures and requires the ability to assess patient needs, plan and implement interventions, and evaluate care effectiveness. The RN will anticipate changes in patient condition, collaborate with healthcare team members, and coordinate discharge plans. This role also supports shared governance, promotes a culture of safety, and participates in quality improvement initiatives. The position requires the ability to provide age-appropriate care and demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles.
