About The Position

At Mercy Medical Center the Intermediate Care Unit provides quality care primarily for adult patients experiencing severe, but usually non-life-threatening issues requiring moderately complex assessments, intensive therapies, and interventions. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program.
  • Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Massachusetts.
  • BLS (AHA/ARC).
  • ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • BSN graduate preferred.
  • Previous cardiac monitoring/telemetry experience preferred.
  • Acute care, Medical-Surgical, Cardiac Telemetry preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating and managing nursing care plans
  • Participate in the evaluation of current and future medical needs of the patient
